About the show
“Roll up, roll up! The circus is in town!”
Get ready for a fun-filled circus adventure with The Smart Brothers! This energetic and interactive show blends comedy, music, and circus skills to deliver important lessons about road safety and sustainable travel. Packed with laughs and surprises, the performance is designed to engage Year 3 & 4 children, helping them learn while enjoying the non-stop action.
Throughout the show, the audience is kept engaged as the performers constantly ask questions and invite the children to call out the answers. Volunteers are called up to help demonstrate how to safely use pedestrian crossings, and a fun word game gives students a chance to interact even more.
The performance concludes with a catchy road safety song, reinforcing the key messages learnt throughout the show. The entire audience (yes, that includes you, teachers!) gets involved by singing the chorus and repeating the actions for stopping, looking, listening, and thinking—ensuring that these essential lessons stick with the students long after the show ends.

fit a show into all sorts of less than ideal spaces.

We need access to your school hall 30 minutes before our set show time and 15 minutes after the show to break it down and clear the room.
We are pretty much self contained. In terms of the show, we just need an electrical socket to plug our PA into. We will also require a parking space for one vehicle.
Yes, we both hold an enhanced DBS and we always bring our certificates to the school. We are also subscribed the DBS renewal scheme, so you can use our DBS numbers to check our status yourself. If you require our DBS numbers prior to our visit, please let us know.
There is no 'one price fits all', as the final cost will depend on the number of shows required, and travel and accommodation expenses where applicable.
For the school year 2024/25, the base price for a single show is £450, or £850 for two shows on the same day.
To give you some idea of travel costs, we are based in the South East of England, so schools in London, Kent, & East Sussex won't incur any extra expenses.
You can reduce the impact of travel and accommodation costs by working with other local schools to help us arrange a short tour of schools in your area.
