Council Testimonials
At The Smart Brothers, we are passionate about delivering engaging and educational performances to primary school children across the UK, teaching essential road safety skills through the power of theatre. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working with numerous local councils to bring our Theatre in Education (TIE) road safety shows to schools. Below, you’ll find some of the kind words and recommendations we’ve received from councils who have partnered with us, highlighting the impact and value of our work in promoting road safety to young audiences.

“The Smart Brothers shows are an excellent way to give very important Road Safety messages to all primary school children including their parents, carers, teachers and staff.
I cannot praise them enough for their enthusiasm, dedication, showmanship, professionalism, reliability and adaptability. They promote road safety tirelessly in all our schools.
Since Jason and Stuart have been performing their shows in Croydon they have built up a special rapport with Croydon's population both young and old alike. Everyone is always delighted to see the "Smart Brothers" at schools and at the many events and promotions we hold in the borough.
They both have a special gift that makes learning to be 'safe' such fun and their road safety messages are remembered by everyone who sees them.
I highly recommend them!”

Susan Martin, Senior Road Safety Officer, Croydon Council

“I was genuinely impressed and found it very entertaining and funny, as did the children. They were enthralled! But the message was not lost in the entertainment!
The Smart Bros were really good at being interactive with the children, eliciting answers and reinforcing messages like Stop, Look, Listen and Think in a very effective way.
Their 45 minutes had a real structure and involved a lot of children from the audience, appealing to reception right up to year six.
I would say that the larger the audience, the better, and schools should be encouraged to send the whole school if possible.
All in all, a very good afternoon at the theatre for me. So you can probably say that the Smart Brothers appeal from 5 to 105 year olds!
I've seen one or two other similar shows but I do think this the best I have seen!”

John Everitt, Safety Education Officer, Richmond Council

“We are pleased to recommend the services of Stuart Clark and Jason Perry A.K.A 'The Smart Brothers'.
We engaged the Smart Brothers to tour ten of our primary schools to deliver their Zoopa Doopa Road Safety Road Show. The show was very well received at these schools by pupils and staff alike. The
delivery of the show was perfectly paced for the age group of the audience and kept them engaged throughout the performance. The key safety messages were delivered in a fun, interactive and memorable way.”
