What is National Road Safety Week?
Road Safety Week is a nationwide campaign that focuses on raising awareness about road safety issues, including the prevention of accidents, injuries, and fatalities on the road.
When is it happening?
Road Safety Week is celebrated annually during the third week of November. This year it will take place from the 17th to the 23rd of November.
How can you get involved?
- Book an assembly show from the Smart Brothers. We can be the springboard from which you launch your road safety week, or a reward at the end of the week, for a job well done!
- Run a poster competition.
- Run a competition to design a banner outside your school, highlighting a particular local road safety issue.
- Complete some of the fun tasks from the teacher's resources section of our website.
